AI Literacy & Access Labs

Program Overview

The future is digital — but not everyone has equal access to the tools and knowledge that shape tomorrow’s opportunities. Our AI Literacy & Access Labs close the gap by teaching underserved youth, families, and community members how to use artificial intelligence responsibly, creatively, and effectively.

 What We Do
– Provide hands-on workshops on AI tools for job searches, small business development, and academic success.
– Teach digital safety, ethics, and critical thinking in the age of algorithms.
– Offer open lab hours with trained mentors where participants can experiment, learn, and create.
– Partner with schools, libraries, and workforce centers to expand access.

 Why It Matters
AI is transforming the workplace, yet millions of people are being left behind. By equipping our community with AI skills, we’re not just preparing individuals for jobs we’re empowering them to become innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders in the digital economy.

Impact Goal
Train 500 community members in AI literacy within the first year, opening doors to higher education, better careers, and small business growth.

Student-Run Nonprofit Incubator

Program Overview

Youth aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow — they’re the change-makers of today. Our Student-Run Nonprofit Incubator gives high school and college students the tools, mentorship, and resources to launch their own nonprofit initiatives addressing real issues in their communities.

 What We Do

– Provide students with seed funding, mentorship, and office resources.
– Offer workshops in nonprofit management, fundraising, and community organizing.
– Pair students with professional nonprofit leaders for one-on-one guidance.
– Host annual pitch competitions where students present their nonprofit ideas to donors and community leaders.

 Why It Matters
Too often, young people are told to wait until they’re “older” to make an impact. We believe in giving them the platform now. By empowering students to build nonprofits, we cultivate a generation of civic-minded leaders ready to tackle challenges with creativity and passion.

Impact Goal
Support the launch of 10 student-led nonprofits each year, addressing issues like climate action, education equity, and youth mental health.

Pop-Up Microbusiness Markets

Program Overview

Big dreams often start small — with a food recipe, a handmade product, or a service idea. Our Pop-Up Microbusiness Markets provide local entrepreneurs, veterans, re-entry citizens, and single parents with the space, resources, and visibility they need to launch and grow their businesses.

 What We Do
– Organize monthly pop-up markets in community centers, parks, and vacant storefronts.
– Provide participants with small business training in branding, marketing, and customer service.
– Offer shared vendor resources like signage, point-of-sale systems, and advertising.
– Connect participants with micro-grants and mentorship to scale their ventures.

 Why It Matters
For many, the barriers to entrepreneurship — startup costs, lack of exposure, limited networks — are overwhelming. By lowering those barriers, we create a pathway to financial independence, community wealth, and thriving local economies.

Impact Goal
Host 12 markets in the first year with over 100 micro-entrepreneurs showcasing their products and services.

Family First Assistance Program

Program Overview

No parent should have to choose between paying rent, putting food on the table, or keeping the lights on. Our Family First Assistance Program provides direct relief to families in crisis through essential item distribution, emergency food support, and housing stability services.

 What We Do

– Provide emergency rent and utility assistance to prevent homelessness.
– Distribute essential items such as groceries, diapers, clothing, and hygiene products.
– Connect families with housing navigation services and referrals for long-term stability.
– Host monthly Family Resource Days where families can access multiple services in one place — food pantry, housing assistance, and community resources.

 Why It Matters
Financial instability pushes families into cycles of poverty and housing insecurity. By meeting urgent needs today, we give families breathing room to focus on tomorrow — education, employment, and personal growth

Impact Goal
Support 250 families annually with emergency relief, essential items, and housing support, keeping more children and parents safe, nourished, and housed.
